About History From The Heart “Don’t cry because it is over. Smile because it happened.” Dr Seuss 1904/91 Annie Payne is the founder of History from the Heart, located in Perth Western Australia. She helps people to preserve their memories and life stories by creating a written document about their life time experiences. Annie, a former nursing sister and TAFE lecturer, is also a published author with over 18 years of writing personal histories. She is an experienced public speaker, workshop coordinator and appears in such media outlets as ABC Radio and ‘Wake Up Perth’ talking about various personal history issues.
