Hi I'm Annie!

Annie Payne, professional personal and family historian.My name is Annie Payne and I started History from the Heart to help people save their personal and family histories before time passes and memories fade.

There are many sites which help you with genealogy and family trees but, when you look deeper, there aren't many that help you with solid and proven advice to help you save your family stories before they are forgotten - forever.

The stories of your parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts are the buds and leaves to your family tree. Without them you have just names, places and dates on a bare tree.

I am a professional personal and family historian and I have been doing this work for over 23 years. During this time I have never met anyone who did not have a story to tell and I am yet to find anyone with a boring life story.

Professionally I am a Board Member and Regional Director of the international Association of Personal Historians. and I live in Adelaide, South Australia. This site has an Australian focus but you will find the principles apply wherever in the world you may live.
