History from the Heart

This is a web site aimed at offering a wide range of great ideas and products to help you start gathering the stories from your grandparents, parents and other senior family members before time passes and memories fade.

Founded in 2006, History from the Heart was formed to meet the growing demand for personal and family history services in Australia. This demand has grown steadily as the "Baby Boomer" generation start to retire and as the heroes from World War II pass on.

Operated by passionate personal and family historian Annie Payne, History from the Heart aims to give you the benefit of her experience and knowledge along with that of her colleagues in the international Association of Personal Historians. 

Annie began helping people preserve their family stories in 1988 has been now delivering a quality one on one personal service to her clients for over 23 years. 

Annie is also the Australian Ambassador for the Living Legacy Project - a worldwide project to save the stories that made the history of the 20th Century.
